dirartecontemporanea2.0Gallery on the occasion of the 13th Contemporary Day | AMACI in its physical support space, the d2.0 box, pays tribute to M ° sculptor Mario Velocci, presenting about fifteen works on cardboard and two sculptures. The exhibition Spazio.Linea.Suono is curated by Angelo Marino and is introduced by a brief synopsis of co-curator and writer Martina Velocci. The Artist will be present at the inauguration.
Space, line, sound. Three nouns that in the "semantic linguistics" of Mario Velocci's work tell an artistic path systematically addressed to a single "moral verb": art.
The artistic life of Velocci over the years has grown more and more in a creative path that has wedged, like water in the mountains, between matter and impalpable, concrete and elegance, flexible steel and the " indomitable iron. Recapturing in this duality of symbolic elements his deep essence: freedom.
Velocci in 50 years of work have always carried forward its "artistic design" with the strength and consistency that differentiate it from everyone by making its "red sign" its final signature.
If space is his world and the line his acknowledgment sound is his home.
The works of Mario Velocci can be touched and played, vibrate as the notes and create musicality in those who look at them as a symphony that enchants.
Velocci knows how to speak a universal language that is aimed at the world and the world listens to it as it does with the great "masters" who teach with a gaze and create with a sound.
His art is strength is wind. Sun and earth. But above all, it is a constant and continuous search for a creative stylistic freedom that is renewed every day in the systematic precision of every sign, every cut, of all its empirical and experiential plasma experience. If his work is freedom, his art is sound and that's why it can be defined: an artist who creates sound with matter.
Over the years, the work of cardboards, cut one by one with architectural and engineering precision, has created the graphic base of its sculptural works that are increasingly rising from sheet to life.
Three nouns: space, line, sound to define a path where space melts in the sign and music blends in its vibrant hands. Strong hands of an artist who daily tells his story. A story made of space, line, sound.

La dirartecontemporanea2.0Gallery in occasione della 13° Giornata del Contemporaneo|AMACI nel proprio spazio fisico di supporto, il d2.0-box, rende omaggio al M° scultore Mario Velocci presentando una quindicina di lavori su cartone e due sculture. La mostra dal titolo Spazio.Linea.Suono è curata da Angelo Marino ed è introdotta da una breve sinossi della co-curatrice e scrittrice Martina Velocci. All’inaugurazione sarà presente l’Artista.
Spazio, linea, suono. Tre sostantivi che nella “linguistica semantica” dell’opera di Mario Velocci raccontano un percorso artistico sistematicamente rivolto ad un unico “verbo morale”: l’arte.
La vita artistica di Velocci nello scorrere degli anni si è sempre più sviluppata in un percorso creativo che si è incuneato, come acqua tra le montagne, tra la materia e l’impalpabile, il concreto e l’eleganza, il flessibile acciaio e l’indomito ferro. Rinvenendo in questa dualità di elementi simbolici la sua essenza profonda: la libertà.
Velocci in 50 anni di lavoro ha sempre portato avanti il suo “disegno artistico” con la forza e la coerenza che lo differenziano da tutti facendo diventare il suo “segno rosso” la sua firma finale.
Se lo spazio è il suo mondo e la linea il suo riconoscimento il suono è la sua casa.
Le opere di Mario Velocci possono essere toccate e suonate, vibrano come le note e creano musicalità in chi le guarda come una sinfonia che incanta.
Velocci sa di parlare una lingua universale che si rivolge al mondo e il mondo lo ascolta come si fa con i grandi “maestri” che insegnano con uno sguardo e creano con un suono.
La sua arte è forza è vento. Sole e terra. Ma sopratutto è una ricerca costante e continuativa di una libertà stilistica creativa che si rinnova ogni giorno nella sistematica precisione di ogni suo segno, di ogni suo taglio, di ogni sua plasmatica esperienza empirica ed esperienziale. Se la sua opera è libertà, la sua arte è suono ed è per questo che può essere definito: un artista che crea il suono con la materia. Negli anni il lavoro dei cartoni, tagliati uno ad uno con precisione architettonica e ingegneristica hanno creato la base grafica delle sue opere scultoree che sempre di più si innalzano dal foglio per diventare vita.
Tre sostantivi: spazio, linea, suono per definire un percorso dove lo spazio si scioglie nel segno e la musica si fonde nelle sue vibranti mani. Mani forti di un’artista che tutti i giorni racconta la sua storia. Una storia fatta di spazio, linea, suono.
