Born in the small city of Baradero, province of Buenos Aires, Claudia's childhood was one of countryside and open air. Her family moved to Buenos Aires when she was 14, and only a few years later, when the country was under a military dictatorship, she left for Boston (1980). It was there, immersed in the city's art scene of the early 1980's, that her calling as a photographer became clear to her. She graduated from New England School of Fotography(NESOP) in 1982 and began working right away in Editorial, model agencies and as set photographer for music videos and short films. Life led her to Caracas, Venezuela (1990), where she continued her career as a freelance photographer for agencies and magazines, as well as participating in collective shows in the city. In 1998 back in Buenos Aires (for good), she has never stopped shooting. She studied Anthropology and Classical Theatre, involved both as performer and as photographer. Her work has been exhibited in private and public galleries in the city.

Nasce nella piccola città di Baradero, provincia di Buenos Aires, dove vi trascorre l'infanzia. All'età di 14 anni segue la famiglia a Buenos Aires che lascerà dopo qualche anno, a seguito della dittatura militare, per trasferirsi a Boston (1980) dove subito si inserisce nel contesto artistico partecipandovi attivamente e prendendo coscienza che la fotografia sarà la sua ragione di vita. Frequenta la New England School of Fotography(NESOP) laureandosi nel 1982. Teminati gli studi al NESOP inizia subito a lavorare per agenzie di moda, fotografo di scena per video musicali e cortometraggi. La vita la porta ad un nuovo trasferimento, questa volta a Caracas in Venezuela ( 1990 ) dove alternerà l'attività di freelance per agenzie e riviste e quella di ricerca partecipando a mostre collettive in gallerie private e spazi pubblici. Torna a Buenos Aires (definitivamente nel 1998 ) dove tutt'ora vive e lavora. Ha studiato Antropologia e Teatro classico, coinvolta sia come esecutore che come fotografo. Il suo lavoro è stato esposto in gallerie private e pubbliche della città.
